Lasting love for growing children
The meaning of our name Voksi is "to grow in". Our biggest inspiration is to see our products used everyday, and then being passed on to siblings and neighbours. Voksi´s most important contribution to the environmental challenges is to ensure long lasting products. Our designers always aim for high quality and smart useful functions.
We believe
The love and care for nature starts with enjoying fresh air from childhood. In Scandinavia, we let our babies take their daily nap outdoor even in minus degrees and snow. This might be our best proof of how to keep children warm, by delivering great outdoor sleeping products over four decades. Inspired by Scandinavian childhood, developed for everyone.
The true original
The Voksi journey first started in 1985 when a Norwegian mother and entrepreneur created the very first extendable sleeping bag for babies. The mindset has always been: "Only the best is good enough for our products and your child". Today Voksi is a part of a Norwegian family company, HTS Hans Torgersen og sønn, who has carried on the legacy, never compromising when it comes to safety and quality. We are super proud of bringing the Voksi heritage forward.
Materials
Everything starts with choosing the right material combinations to create the optimal performance for each product. As an example we use wool because of its insulation ability even when wet. Down is optimal for creating comfort, lightness and warmth. We are constantly amazed by the features given to us by nature and we are aware not to take them for granted.
Unique design
Our products are uniquely developed by our inhouse designers. We build on the Scandinavian design heritage where every detail has a purpose. Nature is always our inspiration, and our hand drawn patterns inside the products all tell a story about our fascination. Our visual expression combines the playful and comforting, by colour tones that works well together and over time
